this is based off a real thing. there are these malt liquor things that kinda taste like cough syrup and create an uncomfortably lucid drunkenness. basically it’s an alcoholic energy drink and i tried one after i read they were becoming illegal due to people drinking too much because they couldn’t tell how drunk they are.

i can see why honestly.

EDIT: i forgot to mention a decision i had about the art on this one. to represent his drunkenly-aware state, his bubbles are not popping.
